Matthew Casey - CEO
Matt is the former Vice President of Marketing & Sales at SchoolSports Communications Network, LLC, a Boston-based startup publishing
company. As a founding member, Matt was responsible for building and transforming this local 'brick and mortar' start-up into a
successful, nationally recognized Internet business. Through his tenure, he developed an expertise in marketing, sales development
and distribution. Matt graduated from the University of Rochester in 1995.
Matt Harris
Managing Director, Berkshires Capital Investors
Mr. Harris is the Managing Director of The Berkshires Capital Investors, a community-oriented venture capital fund focused on The
Berkshires region of Massachusetts. Mr. Harris manages all investment activity, including due diligence, negotiation and portfolio
management. Mr. Harris was previously an associate with Bain Capital, a venture capital and leverage buyout investment firm, where he
structured and executed many transactions, most notably a $1.1 billion purchase and subsequent sale of a credit-reporting agency and
a $90 million purchase of a medical products distributor. Prior to this, Mr. Harris was employed by the international
strategy-consulting firm of Bain & Company in Boston.
Magnus Nilsson
Director of the Fountainhead Venture Capital Portfolio
Fountainhead is a Belgian venture capital fund focused on making investments
in the educational and career space internationally. Mr. Nilsson, is a
former director of AB Novestra (www.novestra.com), a Swedish VC firm with a focus on Internet
related investments. Mr. Nilsson, either as a director,
advisor, or investor, has been actively involved with companies such as EF
Education (global education services), E*Trade Sweden (online trading),
Academic Search International (a European recruiting company), Boxman
(Europe’s largest e-tailor for CD’s), and FramFab (a European web agency).
