Campuscareercenter.com announces fundraising program to assist university career centers with resources and student awareness campaigns.
CAMBRIDGE, MA - February 20, 2002 -Campuscareercenter.com, the nation's leading independent provider of campus recruitment services, today announced the introduction of a new program designed to assist career services professionals to be able more easily raise funds for resources and/or marketing materials to better promote services that are available to their student body. Campuscareercenter.com has benefited greatly from the assistance of university career service professionals who have promoted Campuscareercenter.com to students and employers. Campuscareecenter.com's network of over 2,000 university faculty members will now be able to take advantage of two referral programs which enable career centers to raise significant funds.
The first program is an Employer Referral Program. Most of Campuscareercenter.com's clients such as Intel, Disney, and General Motors
purchase annual subscriptions to CCC's suite of services including CandidateConnect. These employer accounts range in value from $7,500 to
$30,000 annually. Going forward, on any employer account generated as a result of an employer referral, CCC will allocate 20% of the value of the
account to be earmarked for the referring university career center. The university career center will have the option of selecting whether these
funds will be used for resources such as computers, staff expansion etc, or they can take advantage of CCC's university marketing program whereby CCC
will design and distribute promotional posters, flyers, postcards on campus to raise awareness of the career center to students.
The second program is a Candidate Referral Program. Over 30% of the student's that utilize Campuscareercenter.com indicate that they have been referred to
www.campuscareercenter.com by university career centers. From this point on, career centers will be credited for each student
referral which will enable career centers to expand upon the funds raised through the Employer referral program.
