Role Summary/Purpose The Services Project Engineer 6 is responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. In this role you will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
Essential Responsibilities · Read and apply customer specifications and use standard components as applicable to meet customer needs
· Design and issue drawing requests for custom components while reviewing drawings vs. request for project requirements
· Submit project technical information to subcontractors and customers as required
· Support project manager in dealings with subcontractors and customers in technical areas including customer requests, subcontractor quotes, customer / subcontractor visits, and subcontractor troubleshooting
· Visit subcontractors to inspect equipment
· Visit job sites to perform potential project analysis / measurements or to install equipment as a technical advisor and perform design reviews of equipment
· Help create project specific technical manuals for customer use
Qualifications/Requirements · Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in an engineering position)
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
· Willingness and ability to travel 10% of the time

Desired Characteristics · Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred
· Additional experience in an engineering field is preferred
· Working knowledge of Auto CAD 2000 or later
· Strong mechanical aptitude
· Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication/design including welding and forming techniques
· Additional AutoDesk Inventor or other 3D CAD experience is preferred
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
