Part Time 40 hours or more 8-5p Weekend Days Masters Degree Required Hillcrest Hospital, part of the Cleveland Clinic Health system, has a part-time opening for a Nurse Practitioner with a cardiac background to work in the CSICU and the inpatient cardiac areas (4East). This NP will support two cardiac surgeons. Inpatient experience desired. This position will work mostly weekend shifts and is benefit eligible.
The Nurse Practitioner provides general primary care services to patients of all ages. Demonstrated mastery of nursing concepts and principles and ability to identify and use appropriate concepts and principles from related sciences, i.e. behavioral and biological sciences. Requirements: Excellent analytical and decision making skills are required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Minimum of three years of current clinical experience in ambulatory or hospital care nursing. Demonstrated competency and the ability to perform advanced assessment and diagnosis. Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Ohio. National certification as Nurse Practitioner required. Current certificate of authority by Ohio Board of Nursing required. Master's Degree required.
