External Clinical Liason

Responsible for providing support for assigned area to include but not limited to developing and managing database reports. May assist in researching benefits, claim issues, resources, etc. Provides and coordinates information for Grand and CM Rounds. Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Requirements: Minimum: Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in managed care setting. Desired: Bachelors Degree Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy and consistency. Strong communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills. Must possess the ability to work in and support a team environment. Knowledge of HMOs, PPOs, Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance plans preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Two (2) years of previous job related experience
