Qualifications:/Duties
Texas Health Resources is seeking an Application Systems Analyst / EHR III. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualificaitons:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS / Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required
6 or more years IS applications experience
3+ years experience in healthcare operations
Prior experience with clinical information systems implementation, quality improvement, and/or clinical outcomes measurement
Experience with advanced PC applications and tools including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Visio
Demonstrated knowledge of provider needs and requirements for clinical decision support
Solid computer aptitude and ability to apply information systems concepts and principles
Strong analytical, organizational, written and verbal skills
Effective facilitation skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Registered nurse, pharmacist or other allied health professional preferred
Epic implementation experience a plus
Epic certification in at least one inpatient module preferred
Clinical licensure is a plus

Position:

This position will primarily be responsible for New EHR Development / Support / Maintenance and Systems Analysis and Design and act as subject matter expert / mentor to team.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Performs routine support of assigned EHR system while mentoring / assisting others.
Updates appropriate ticket system by either using the Problem Severity Matrix Standards or Request Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Coordinates program / data moves from development to test / education and production regions
Produces accurate program code consistent with the design done-documents thoroughly, adheres to program subsystem standards, properly structures program techniques, and is free from code, data and documentation side effects.
Develops and executes complete and accurate structured system acceptance test plans.
Monitors performance statistics
Develops detailed, accurate, complete cost-effective and resource-conservative design solutions that cleanly integrate the EHR with existing products and provide an easy path for future enhancements by examining all possible courses of action and displaying sound logic and reasoning to arrive at an optimum solution.

1st Shift Mon Friday, 8 AM 5 PM
