Minimum Education Requirements:
High School Graduate or G.E.D.

Minimum Experience Requirements:
Basic Understanding/ability to learn medical terminology

Minimum Skill Requirements:
A high degree of confidentiality, organizational, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

- Actively supports measures that help department meet Key Performance Indicators

- Monitor and audit charges that have been entered into computer for verification in a timely
manner.

- Meets needs of customers.

- Make referrals to appropriate person, if unable to meet needs of customers.

- Appropriate caregivers notified of expressed concerns of patient, staff, other disciplines and department.

- Process received Orders for procedures to be performed

- Staff notification/make aware of procedural schedules and changes too same in advance.

- Answers incoming phone and calls in timely manner.

- Appropriate documentation tools provided to staff and physicians.

- Scheduling systems maintained and well-organized and available for use by staff.

- Needed equipment/supplies are ordered and made available.

- Consistently documents current and up to date scheduling(procedural and staff), charge audit, EHR/”HSM” information.

- Timely reporting of equipment/software/systems malfunction.

- Effectively/efficiently utilizes communication equipment

- Staff notified promptly of STAT procedural schedule, orders, and any and all related information regarding scheduling.

- Caregivers located promptly and notified of perceived risks specific to patient safety or immediate need for assistance

- Assures patient privacy/confidentiality is maintained

- Perform other duties as assigned
