The Annual Giving, Lead [Dallas Region] will be responsible for securing lead annual gifts from prospects living in the primary service areas of Texas Health Presbyterian hospitals. With a significant focus on raising unrestricted dollars, the Annual Giving Lead will be expected to maintain a sizable prospect pool and solicit gifts in the $1,000 to $25,000 range on an ongoing basis, most typically in one-on-one meetings with donors. The Annual Giving Lead will oversee all aspects of the development process with respect to lead annual donors including prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. While this position remains relationship-based, it is more transactional in nature and requires a rapid and continuous solicitation schedule. The Annual Giving Lead position will also identify and qualify prospects for major and principal gifts.
The Annual Giving Lead will also manage the hospital community councils and affinity groups related to assigned hospitals, and may be asked to take on assignments related to fundraising/event committees as assigned. The Annual Giving Lead will also be responsible for making daily hospital visits to patients/families identified as important to the philanthropy program.
The Annual Giving Lead will be a key member of the annual giving team and may, at times, be responsible for the implementation and execution of specific projects such as direct mail, calling programs, and e-blast solicitations.
Annually, the Annual Giving, Lead will be expected to meet or exceed fundraising metrics developed by the Director, Annual Giving and Special Events and Administrative Director, Advancement Services. The Directors will meet with the Annual Giving, Lead quarterly to review progress toward stated metrics.
This positions offices in Dallas.

Qualifications:
Required Minimum Education: High School diploma (Bachelorís Degree preferred)
Required Minimum Experience: 2 years or more experience in fund development positions, with preference for direct fund solicitation experience.
Required license/certification: None
Required skills (if applicable): Excellent written and verbal skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively articulate the mission/vision of the Foundation and the entities we represent.

Individual Job Responsibilities:
1) Carry a portfolio of lead annual gift prospects for the Texas Health Presbyterian hospitals. Identify, cultivate, solicit and steward prospects via one-on-one meetings and other interactions to secure annual gifts. The focus of this position is face-to-face solicitation/interaction.
2) Manage hospital community boards and fundraising/event committees as assigned.
3) Make daily hospital visits to patients/families identified as important to the philanthropy program.
4) Oversee specific projects and/or programs that support raising annual gifts that may include, but not limited to, direct mail, calling programs, and e-blast solicitations.
