Texas Health Dallas is seeking an Data Warehouse Adminstrator. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS / Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in healthcare clinical field
Previous responsibility of coordinating, analysis, and reporting of quality outcomes data
Must be able to use computer and perform data entry
Current knowledge of ICD-9-CM
Strong ability to analyze data using appropriate statistical analytical tools and programs, such as SPSS, SAS, SQL with integration of data from disparate sources
Knowledge of Premier systems desired

Position:

Position is responsible for coordination, analysis, and reporting of various quality outcomes from administrative and clinical databases, in addition to strategic projects outcome reports. Able to use SPSS/SAS, SQL, and MS Office for presentations. Responsible for management and coordination of external and internal quality databases.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Coordinates data queries, collects, and analyzes data (including financial) to evaluate opportunities for improvement and recommendations to help drive improvement
Responsible for study design, instrumentation development, and analytical methodology development
Provide and manage coordination of resources to achieve project goals
Communicate with project stakeholders to meet operational, strategic, and improvement objectives
Uses applications such as SPSS, SAS, SQL. MS Office etc to perform analysis and presentations
Uses available statistical tools and programs to integrate disparate data systems
Serves as in-house expert for Premier and THR products and systems
Automates reports for scheduled production runs
Enforce data integrity rules to ensure complete and accurate loading
Designs, implements, and manages extracts, imports, interface development
Provides effective communication and support to appropriate individual for the resolution of reported data integrity issues
Conducts business needs analysis for new database applications related to quality data
Creates and maintains documentation for all projects
Evaluates and recommends participation in relevant external databases
Acts as on-site administrator for purposes of data quality control
Prepares and submits budget
Coordinate and supervise national clinical databases, such as ACC, STS, THCIC, etc.
Act as on site database administrator requests for internal and external databases
Manages payment/renewal/data submission/harvest processes
