Qualifications:/Duties
Full Time: 40 hours per week
Mon - Friday varying start time between 6:30am-8:30am until 5:00pm

Minimum Education Requirements:
High School Graduate or G.E.D.

Minimum Experience Requirements:
2 years in office or healthcare environment.
Knowledge of Texas Worker's Compensation rules and regulation. Preferred-Experience with Worker's Compensation billing and Marketing.

Minimum Skill Requirements:
Proven Office software applications skills. Strong verbal, written communications and interpersonal skills. Good organizational skills. Ability to clearly explain problems or situations. Excellent telephone etiquette and creation of normal business correspondence. Mathematical skills required to collect, manipulate and perform analysis of financial or statistical data. Preferred experience with claims, claims processing and claims recovery.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Relieves management of daily operational issues by responding to mail or telephone inquiries or seeking the appropriate personnel for resolution.
2. Builds relationships with vendors, customers or other internal departments in order to complete projects or obtain services.
3. Performs simple research, data collection and/or data entry into databases, e.g. time and labor. May also be responsible for data integrity/maintenance of department/unit databases, reports or documents
4. Tasks are performed accurately, proficiently and in a timely manner.
5. Meets needs of customers.
6. Makes referrals to appropriate person, if unable to meet needs of customers.
7. Answers multiple phones in timely courteous, professional manner.
8. Stores and retrieves information via the use of computer file management.
9. Produces a variety of correspondence, reports, and presentations using the appropriate office equipment and software for word processing, graphics, and spreadsheets (may include analysis of data and basic mathematical calculations).
10. Orders supplies for manager as requested through appropriate venues .
11. Monitors and submits employee time through Time and Labor System.
12. Accesses and print reports used by manager.
13. Creates routine draft written correspondence for management review.
14. Uses software applications, e.g. spreadsheets, graphics, databases to collect, manipulate or report information for department projects, meetings or presentations.
15. Participates in documentation development or information research.
16. Responds to routine correspondence not requiring supervisorís attention
17. Participates in functional, unit or project budgetary processes by assisting with data collection, reporting/tracking accounts payable/receivables, payroll and basic report generation
18. Responsible for assisting with event planning which involves facilities, personnel, travel itineraries, speakers, or scheduling department meetings.
19. Participates in packaging presentation documentation or materials for meetings, education in-service classes or marketing activities.
20. Perform other duties as assigned.
