Qualifications:/Duties
Texas Health Ft. Worth is seeking a Family nurse Practitioner part-time to work in their cancer risk department.

Schedule is variable, Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday. Hours are 7:30 to 4:00 pm.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited advanced nursing program
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas
completion of Clinical competency Assessment per Medical Affairs Standards for the Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Oncology experience helpful.
Strong verbal and written skills, a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-past environment

DUTIES:
Demonstrates contribution to clinic-based programs and research strategies to monitor and continuously improve the quality of patient care.
Collaborates with the Physician and/or Medical Director, other clinical disciplines
Initiates action to meet patient and/or client company's need for information regarding the patient's health
Uses Family Medicine Practice Guidelines to obtain adequate data to initiate, implement, and revise treatment plan to meet patient, and client needs.
Produces documentation that supports and meets regulatory requirements.
Produces documentation that initiates, follows and revises patientís treatment plan
Functions as an independent practitioner. Able to meet changing needs of clinic to provide safe patient outcomes and staff/Customer satisfaction
Uses Clinical Practice Model philosophy to work in partnership with peers, other disciplines, and unlicensed assistance personnel
Actively participates in formal and informal teaching and evaluation to strengthen clinical competence of self and team members
Responsible for maintenance of Nurse Practitioner Protocols
