Qualifications:/Duties
Texas Health Resources seeks to hire a Program Manager Environment of Care. The ideal candidate, reporting to the Director of EOC and Emergency Management, will possess the following qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare, Technology or related field, or applicable years of experience. Masters preferred. Five (5) years in the hospital setting with 3 years of progressive management, preferably in healthcare maintenance or engineering.
Posses knowledge of industry standards and Life Safety Code (LSC), National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA), Environment of Care (EOC), Emergency Management, State of Texas Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Occupational Safety and Healthcare Administration (OSHA), Center for Disease Control (CDC), organizational management; quality improvement and change management techniques; planning, accreditation and regulatory standards and the ability to interpret the requirements as applicable to assigned areas; strategic planning principles, Microsoft Computer Program, and the ability to effectively communicate with others these regulations and their implementation.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
CHFM, CHSP, and/or CHEP

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provide and coordinate training to entities on regulatory compliance, crisis prevention and OSHA standards.
Develop action plans for implementation of deficiencies on standards and elements of performance on the Program Reviews or from any other regulatory agency, for each assigned entity.
Develop and implement system wide programmatic objectives, policies and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and Joint Commission requirements.
Monitor compliance and provide training and assistance to hospital staff to explain purpose, content, and requirements of applicable federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.
