Graphics Production Designer

Experience: In summary, we are seeking someone who can develop creative and quality graphic design deliverables i.e. presentations, printed marketing materials, advertisements to support new business efforts, as well as property marketing efforts for our sales professionals. Serve as a graphic design resource for ad hoc requests including charts, graphs, illustrations and other artwork requiring knowledge of current design technology and computer software packages. Utilize clean, professional, creative visual images in all project deliverables to best communicate the CBRE brand and its key differentiators.

Produces sophisticated graphic design artwork to support marketing efforts using technology and computer software packages for either print or web. Primarily creates original designs using advanced to expert skills in HTML, Flash, Java or other languages or design programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Dreamweaver, etc. Applies professional graphic design principles to the creation of documents, websites and other graphic products. Provides design advice to clients and guidance to lower level designers and publishers. May conduct some training on design software applications. May provide oversight and ensure alignment with other design work being performed within an office/hub. May manages large design projects, guiding the work of team members to produce a finished product.
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent

Ability to comprehend, interpret documents and write reports/correspondence in a style and format that is consistent with business practices. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal and external client group.
Requires general knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
Ability to solve problems in complex situations. Must be able to prioritize several projects at once, handle large workloads, and meet changing deadlines. Requires good judgment and analytical skills.
Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
May be required to coach/train coworkers and other staff within the unit. May guide the work of a team

Significant experience in artistic design using various software programs including PageMaker, PhotoShop, QuarkXpress, Freehand, Illustrator, Flash and Microsoft Office Suite. Must have expertise in print and web publishing and be highly skilled in graphic design principles. Intermediate to expert level skills in graphic design software required, including web and multimedia design with experience in using programs such as Dreamweaver, Macromedia Freehand and Flash, Adobe In-Design, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe PageMaker, Adobe Photoshop to create original work. Solid project management skills, editing and copywriting skills required.
