Full Time CVOR 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM + Call Day Associate's Degree RN - Registered Nurse 3 Years of Experience Required



Provides for the health care of patients within existing standards of care. Primarily responsible for the admission data base, ongoing assessment, the nursing care plan, discharge planning, teaching, evaluation of the nursing care plan and/or meeting customer service needs. Provides direct supervision to other members of the nursing team, prescribes nursing care, delegates care to be provided, and coordinates the nursing plan of care. This position will care for patients in the child, adolescent, adult and geriatric age groups. Employee performs clinical duties in accordance with population specific guidelines and adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as outlined in policy and procedures.

Additional facilities in Hall County include: three urgent care centers; a mental health and substance abuse treatment center; two outpatient imaging centers; two long-term care centers; and outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapy clinics. NGHS also plans to build a 100-bed hospital in the Greater Braselton area. This 119-acre healthcare village, called River Place, already includes a medical office building that houses numerous physician specialties, an urgent care center and outpatient services including imaging, lab and physical and occupational therapy.

Led by volunteer boards made up of community leaders, the 557-inpatient, 261-skilled nursing bed health system serves almost 700,000 people in more than 13 counties across Northeast Georgia. As a not-for-profit health system, all revenue generated above operating expenses is returned to the community through improved services and innovative programs.

Facilities throughout northeast Georgia seve to extend NGHS' reach into the community, including: additional outpatient rehabilition centers offering physical, occupational and speech therapy; a satellite cancer treatment center; and in-home services such as hospice and Lifeline, a personal emergency response system.
