Marketing Coordinator - Outreach & Communications


The Marketing Coordinator role will have a specific focus on Outreach and Communications. This position will be responsible for developing, maintaining and executing the awards / nominations plan, an outreach / speaking engagements plan, trade show / conference / event support and communications support for the region. Communications support will include business development writing, internal announcements, case studies, and press / media relations / maintenance support. Graphics and marketing communications support for the region will be expected as part of the regional focus for the Marketing Coordinator role.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Interfaces with sales professionals, marketing assistants, and researchers regarding marketing and client requirements. Gathers the necessary information to complete marketing tasks. Independently determines the appropriate methodology in creating marketing and presentation materials.

Updates sales professional database and manages HTML broadcast system. Regularly creates and distributes property listing information, invitations, and announcements via email.

Designs and creates a wide variety of customized, professional-quality marketing materials that may include maps, advertisements, illustrations, demographic reports, and executive summary brochures for in-house and client presentations using advanced desktop, graphic, and mapping software.

Prioritizes work assignments and obtains appropriate approval prior to placing orders with vendors. Organizes and coordinates work assignments with vendors and provides vendors with items necessary to complete projects.


Develops, maintains and executes the awards and nominations plan for the region. Duties include sourcing opportunities and coordinating awards and nominations in business journals, trade organizations, economic development organizations and chambers of commerce for professionals across the region.

Duties include sourcing opportunities and coordinating outreach and speaking engagements in business journals, trade organizations, economic development organizations, chambers of commerce and business community organizations for professionals across the region.

Supports the region with trade show, conference, meeting and event coordination. Trade shows will include the Florida ICSC's, NAIOP trade shows and specific industry trade shows. Events will include regional summits, kick-off meetings, CBRE Cares events and press roundtables.


Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Marketing and / or Communications from an accredited college. Three - four years of related job experience in the commercial and / or residential real estate industry preferred. Public relations agency experience will also be considered. Intermediate skills with various software programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design and Microsoft Office Suite.

Candidate must also have the following skill sets at the following skill levels in the following categories listed below.
