Variable 20.00 Hourly Part Time Job Summary: Under the guidance of the Director of Oncology Services, the Breast Health Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of nursing care to new or recurrent Breast cancer patients diagnosed via the Breast Center. In collaboration with appropriate healthcare professionals coordinates all aspects of diagnosis, clinical work up and initial treatment by coordinating appointments and identifying resources, providing support services and all relevant documentation for each patient. Also, coordinates selected community outreach activities, professional and patient education, and program development related to Breast Cancer.Education: BSN from an accredited program.Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Current Oklahoma RN LicenseWork Experience: Five to seven years related experience.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of Breast cancer pathology, current National diagnostic and treatment guidelines from professional organizations. Oncology experience required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and Access. Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Ability to effectively exercise independent judgment in planning the sequence of operations and making decisions in a complex technical or professional field. Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner. Detail oriented as required in the examination of clinical and numerical data.
