Geographic Coverage Specialist

Role Summary/Purpose Generate sales for the TFS business for an assigned geographic area.

Essential Responsibilities 1. Develop and execute a growth strategy in defined geographic area, which typically encompasses multiple branches/locations

2. Work with both existing customers and prospects to identify and fill needs for rental, in-fleet lease, and/or trailer sales, as well as CAPEX leases

3. Perform customer needs analyses and develop key account strategies

4. Work with the sales teams and branches to meet sales objectives, improve productivity, increase revenues and maximize profitability within the territory

5. Develop a strong long-term business relationship with key territory accounts by evaluating and understanding the customer's business, the trucking industry and financial implications of renting/leasing

6. Function as customer advocate and primary sales contact

7. Participate in branch sales team activities and objectives

8. Facilitate a new business development relationship with management

9. Drive Six Sigma at the customer level by improving effectiveness with active use and support of digitization and other Six Sigma tools

Qualifications/Requirements 1. B.S./B.A. (preferably in Business, Economics ) or minimum 2 years commercial sales experience

2. Minimum 2 years experience in sales negotiations in a business-to-business environment at a variety of management levels

3. Proven experience in growing business and closing deals

4. Proven record of boundaryless behavior

5. Ability to perform financial analysis and provide appropriate data and information with an in depth knowledge of financial concepts, terms, etc (ability to read, understand and communicate financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements)

6. Effective negotiator and communicator with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional senior executives

7. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and time management skills

8. Results oriented with strong bias for action and a high level of energy and enthusiasm

9. Strong PC skills required including Word, Power Point and Excel
