Assoc Producer News Line

Role Summary/Purpose Job Purpose: NBC Universalís Owned and Operated Television station in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, KXAS TV, is looking for a Newscast Producer. As a Newscast Producer, you will produce a live newscast with fast-paced creative writing and multiple live elements.

# Essential Responsibilities Visualizes stories with management team, reporters, assignments desk and talent.

# In charge of production of newscast, including, writing, graphic treatment, video and sound selection

# Make adjustments in breaking news situations

# Works with newscast directors, promotions, news and web staff to coordinate production of the newscast.

# Manages the newscast associate producers.

# Performs other related duties as assigned.

# Qualifications/Requirements A minimum of 2 years of previous experience as producer or associate producer for daily newscast

# Minimum of 1 yr TV writing experience

# Bachelor's degree.

# Must have the ability to work any of a 24 x 7 shift
