Global Pricing Leader

Role Summary/Purpose This role is responsible for driving the strategic pricing plans for a business group by collaborating with Marketing and Sales to ensure proper targets are set balancing all business objectives. Additionally, this role works very closely with the Modality/Sales teams to monitor the performance of the portfolio and recommend, develop and implement actions to adapt to the current environment. This is a very visible and influential member of the Marketing team contributing to the overall strategy
Essential Responsibilities Key responsibilities include:

∑ Working collaboratively with the business teams, setting price of NPIís utilizing CECOR framework along with Key pricing tools such as PV Maps, EVE Analysis and the Business Case. Understand and model the impact of new products on the business portfolio accounting for Price, Volume and Share shifts.

∑ Coordinating with Marketing to ensure regular customer feedback is incorporated into pricing policies through surveys, focus groups or other means

∑ Developing (compliant) competitive analysis that provides an understanding of how GEís price and offering compares to others. Understand commercial trends incorporating win-loss data, 3rd party information sources and field interaction. Recommend either strategic or tactical responses to those trends.

∑ Working closely with finance teams to forecast quarterly price performance. Set quarterly targets balancing price, volume and share.

∑ Working with Modality and Sales teams to analyze, create and monitor promotions and to Develop field tools to assist in articulating our products value in the market place.

∑ Conduct diagnostics to determine key pricing levers and estimate pricing opportunity.

∑ Build consensus with the key stakeholders and drive change.

∑ Drive usage of target price setting, incentives and ad hoc tactical issues.

∑ Partner with Global and Regional marketing teams on ad hoc pricing projects.
Qualifications/Requirements This position is posted internal and external to GE.

1. Bachelorís Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field

2. 8+ years of experience in Pricing, Marketing or a related field

3. Demonstrated skill to clearly assess financial impact of business actions, recommend and implement strategy

4. Excellent Communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing

5. Successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function

6. Leadership and influence skills for all levels of the business

7. Global project experience

Desired Characteristics 1. Masterís Degree in Business/Finance or Corporate Audit Staff

2. 10+ years experience in pricing, marketing, finance or a related field

3. Strong track record of working collaboratively to tackle cross-functional issues

4. Strong, Demonstrated background utilizing Pricing Tools

5. Greenbelt Certified; experience in Lean and Value Stream Mapping. Skilled in driving change in key business processes

6. Significant risk or downstream/operational marketing experience

7. Excellent Communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing

8. Proven record of accomplishment of establishing and managing project plans, adjusting to changing circumstances. Prioritizes and effectively controls key milestones.

9. In-depth knowledge of product offerings and commercial processes

10. Effective at building relationships across the organization

11. Leadership and influence skills

12. Healthcare industry experience

13. Global Project experience
