Meters - Senior Project Manager

Role Summary/Purpose The Project Manager will act as a single point of contact between customers that have large meter deployments and the GE Meters team Sales, Global Supply Chain, Engineering, NPI, Quality, Customer Service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business success.
Essential Responsibilities * Analyze contract deliverables and communicate to and drive the business to execute on all aspects
* Drive workouts with customer and GE Meters team to develop and implement processes for meter scheduling, releasing, delivery and returns
* Work with Customer Service & Engineering to set up and execute effective returns process, metrics and communications
* Work with customer, engineering, manufacturing and third parties to RCA system issues and drive resolution in timely manner
* Effectively mitigate project risks and create opportunities for project execution enhancements and cost reductions
* Oversee the project baseline development and implementation in a computerized environment
* Coordinate resolution of issues through the use of change management and ensure timely collection of monies
* Immediately after project completion, facilitate the quantification and documentation of project performance with both the project team and customer
* Participate in the Inquiry to Order (ITO) process on an as needed basis
Qualifications/Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Management

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
* Proficient computer skills
* Willing and able to travel (25 to 50%)

Desired Characteristics * MBA
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in the T&D power equipment field
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer facing project management, and good presence in front of customers
* Experience in Meter projects
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving ability
* Strong oral AND written communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and an ability to work in a team environment
* Established leadership competency
