Senior Product Manager - US Avionics Product Leader

Role Summary/Purpose Accountable for US Avionics Product Line Management across a diverse portfolio of product lines. Responsibilities will include:

Establish product strategies and collaborate with Sales & Marketing to drive execution of approved growth tactics

Work with Sales & Marketing to define entitlement & identify areas to penetrate and grow profitability

Ensure product line program execution with strong process adherence

Develop rich relationship with civil and military business segment leaders

Essential Responsibilities ∑ Lead the Product Management team to meet the business metrics for Standard Product Code

∑ Assign project-estimating duties within the department to develop labor costs for projects in a timely manner

∑ Track and provide report out on specific business metrics established by management

∑ Present high-risk projects to Management and Project Management for discussion and approval prior to quotation

∑ Help develop a process to refine the written proposal process assuring accuracy of proposals prior to submitting to customers

∑ Work with Sourcing to help develop RFQ process to receive firm bids from contractors and suppliers as needed on labor quotations

∑ Assure that the estimating team is completing this process

∑ Work with Sales team to promote the successful sale of labor services in conjunction with sales

∑ Attend sales meetings to define and follow up on labor opportunities

∑ Work with Project Management team to assure clear hand off of new projects to their execution team

Qualifications/Requirements Bachelorís degree from an accredited university or college

∑ At least 5 or more years product management experience

∑ Willingness and ability to travel 30-50% of the time
