Role Summary/Purpose This role will ensure GEHC Medical Diagnostics develops products which meet customerís needs and that are developed with a deep understanding of the market place and the competition. In this role you will be enabling high quality, objective decisions by identifying and advising on the key marketing challenges for the business, through the development and application of insightful and objective competitive and business analysis.
Essential Responsibilities - Accountable for high quality, commercial information. This information is interpreted and appropriate recommendations are made to allow effective decision-making.
- Ensuring understanding, description and valuation of product profiles and market trends
- Leading global market research projects (VOC) that are developed and implemented to support commercial decision making on products and/or strategies
- Developing and maintaining short to medium/long-term forecasts of marketing, franchise and products, which allow development and investment options to be considered by senior management
- Being a key contributor and influencer within the marketing teams
- Being a key contributor in the Growth Playbook process
Qualifications/Requirements This position is open to external and internal candidates.

∑ Bachelorís Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Statistics/Economics
∑ 5 years of experience performing market research and business analysis within the Healthcare industry.

Desired Characteristics ∑ 5 years of experience performing market research and business analysis within the Biopharmaceuticals industry.
∑ MBA or Masterís degree in Marketing, Statistics or Economics
∑ Ability to interpret large amounts of information, e.g. from clinical studies, scientific papers, financial reports and in-depth market research studies
∑ Excellent forecasting capabilities and ability to exploit a range of commercial evaluation techniques
∑ Excellent oral and written communications skills
∑ Excellent project management skills Ė able to lead and manage complex matrix teams
∑ Successful experience working in a team environment
