FP&A Manager

Role Summary/Purpose The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager leads financial forecasts, reports and analysis in support of the Aero Products Business working across the functions in a comprehensive manner.

Essential Responsibilities - Leads analysis of financial results income statement and cash flow

- Drives quarter closes and ensures timely, accurate and complete results reporting

- Leads business planning processes (forecasts, Growth Playbook, Session II and Operating Plan) and reporting rhythms (i.e., risk & opportunities)

- Ensures effective understanding, analysis, and reporting of key metrics such as price, productivity, inflation; coordinates related activities

- Supports product line reporting and works with product line managers and their teams

- Works with Finance Managers and business leaders to understand opportunities, drive objectives and address risks

- Manages a team of 3 FTEs and serves as a member of the financial management program

- Drives process improvements and projects as identified; support special reviews

Qualifications/Requirements - BS / BA in Finance, Business or Accounting

- Minimum 5 years of progressive finance experience.

Desired Characteristics - Corporate Audit Staff or EFLP graduate (GE employees only)

- Six Sigma Trained; Green Belt Certified (GE employees only)

- Oracle 11i, Brio, OFA, Cognos knowledge

- Prior FP&A experience

- Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve complex financial issues

- Demonstrated analytical skills and PC proficient

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
