Responsibilities
The National Security Agency's (NSA) Office of the Inspector General has immediate openings for Auditors in the Office of Audits to conduct/assist in performance audits of Agency programs, activities, organizations, functions, funds, and nonprofit organizations.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, and a minimum of 2-6 years of experience, and demonstrated knowledge in performing audits or related analytic studies of programs and operations to accomplish planned objectives. Qualifications may include:
- Knowledge of financial management, procurement practices, logistics processes; and enterprise management.
- Experience in presenting facts, conclusions, and recommendations concisely, accurately, and clearly in a written format.
- Ability to work well as part of a team of auditors, management analysts, functional specialists, and investigators in planning and conducting audits and reviews.
- Exceptional oral and written communications skills.
- Knowledge of Acquisition Management.
- Knowledge of the information systems life cycle; system architecture; telecommunications or database management systems.
- Knowledge of and hands on use of analytic tools such as Statistical Analysis System.
- Certified Public Account (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act certification.
Salary range: $41,210 - $113,007
