The Information Technology Leadership Development Program (ITLDP) is an accelerated four-to-five year rotational program emphasizing leadership development for college graduates looking to pursue a career in Information Technology. Participants complete rotations of increasing complexity, depending on prior work experience. Each rotation averages 12 months in length, but can vary from six to fifteen months.
The program is multi-faceted and offers a technology, business and management-oriented development curriculum that includes training in cutting edge technologies, insurance, strategy and leadership development.
Other program components include formal mentoring, networking and career guidance. Participants are also expected to participate in and coordinate additional activities to benefit other participants, Travelers employees, and the community. Each participant is expected to approach his or her assignments with an open mind and understand the goal of each organization and recommend and implement changes to help each area better reach or exceed their goals.
The program's single goal is the development of high potential candidates into leaders at Travelers.

Requirements
You should have a passion for both technology and business and possess an IT-related undergraduate or graduate degree. Additional requirements include:
> Preferred GPA of 3.2 or greater
> Demonstrated leadership experience
> Extra-curricular involvement
> Prior work experience/internship experience
> Motivation to succeed
> Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
> Analytical skills
> Within three days of employment, you must be able to show eligibility to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Locations
Currently the ITLDP has positions open in Hartford,CT only.
Program participants will be required to complete at least one six-month rotation in a Travelers field office.
