Grab your slice of success by teaming up with Kraft Foods as a Sales Associate. This is a great stepping stone and training ground for a long-term career within the Kraft organization. This entry level position in the Kraft Sales force will be responsible for selling, management of inventory, and in store promotions/merchandising.
The role of the Sales Associate is to grow the customers� and Kraft Foods� business at the retail level through selling, planning, ordering and distribution, as well as effectively merchandising, shelving and pricing.
Primary Responsibilities
- Stock shelves and rotate product � work in conjunction with the Sales Service Rep to ensure inventory is fully stocked, rotated and presentable at all times.
- Training for the Sales Representative role � develop complete knowledge of Kraft Foods products, systems, and procedures, including: sales objectives, campaigns and promotions, sales brochures and order guides, sales presentations, sources of product and distribution, space management programs and uses, and proper merchandising.
- Inventory Management/Order Writing � develop skills in order writing and managing inventory.
- Sell new products, displays, and promotions at store level as well as build and maintain displays.
- Cover open Sales Rep territories as part of development.
Requirements:
- College Degree required.
- Ability to work a flexible five day schedule that includes a Saturday or Sunday required.
- Previous Retail, Merchandising or Grocery experience is strongly preferred.
- This position covers the territory of Youngstown and the surrounding area. Residence within 25 miles of Youngstown is required to be considered for this position.
- Valid driver�s license with good driving record is a must.
- Ability to relocate for future advancement potential is preferred.
Additional General/Technical Skills Required:
- Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced work environment and meet defined physical activities (lifting, bending, carrying, pushing, pulling, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Problem solving skills, strong planning and organization skills.
- Successful completion of drug test, MVR check, and general background check.
