Director, Revenue Management

General Responsibilities:
The Director of Revenue Management reports to the Division Vice President, Operation Support, and will functionally supervise the Region Revenue Managers, Hertz North America RAC and Manager, Revenue Management, Advantage RAC in a matrix reporting environment.

The Director of Revenue Management is responsible for division level management and coordination of revenue generated from the sale of additional services at the point of purchase (to include LDW, PDW, LLDW, LIS, PAI/PEC, Upsell, FPO, Refueling Collections, NeverLost, Sirius Satellite Radio and walkup revenue). Point of purchase includes time of booking, rental, return and contract execution. Additional responsibilities include all ancillary charges such as additional driver, ski racks, child seats as well as the development of new optional services.

This position works in conjunction with the Region Revenue Managers, all level of operation management starting with RVP and includes frontline employees, Fleet, Pricing, IT, Legal, Marketing, Finance, Purchasing to achieve targeted expectations through an effective customer service oriented approach to sales while ensuring legal and procedural requirements are met.

* Analyze daily/weekly/monthly revenue management statistics, provide peer rankings and identify the high potential locations (action plan execution) while seeking out best practices in the locations with constant performance improvement.
* Analyze product pricing and product features development. Coordinate rate implementation with OKC IT, operations, reservation systems and legal
* Work with Learning and Development to create programs and training modules to execute a sales culture focused around a highly motivated team.
* Forecast and achieve monthly budget established for Revenue Management Incentive program and employee recognition programs
* Work closely with the Legal Department to insure legal requirements are met, execute processes with the direction from legal and represent the Corporation in legal proceedings
* Address customer service complaints. Enforce disciplinary action for those who fail to comply with procedures. This includes any person who commits or attempts to commit fraud.
* Work closely with IT to address systems and reporting enhancements, as it relates to improved reporting analysis and issues relating to the product development.
* Evaluate the additional services offerings made by Hertz and its competitors and make changes to enhance Hertz product salability.
* Evaluate the point of sale materials to enhance the sales process interims of their ability to close the sale. Implement changes to materials based on cost and efficiency.
* Establish quarterly stretch goals by location for achievement of quarterly Revenue Management awards to motivate manager's involvement to focus their efforts on improvement of their location's performance.
* Own the Internet and Kiosk sales implementation of optional service products.
* Develop improved systems for daily/weekly/monthly reporting tools for the field

Ensure the Advantage organization meets all new objectives, ensures accountability in the system and all employees are held accountable for monthly achieved payouts. Develop separate program parameters (from Hertz).
* Work with compensation on comprehensive bonus and incentive programs
* Oversee pilot programs to test new concepts.
