Position Description

Supports and/or assists the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies. Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to support the integration of technical solutions across multiple disciplines. Supports the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build. Participates in the implementation of manufacturing plans. Investigates and/or resolves technical problems. Assists in the implementation of Lean principles, theories and advanced technologies. Interfaces with IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.

Ability to differentiate production (manufacturing) processes and requirements from in-service procedures and requirements.

Ability to select the best method of producing parts, tools or assemblies.

Typical Education/Experience

Level 1 - Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Level 2 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. Other Job related information

Looking for individuals with intern experience, helicopter/aircraft design and build experience. This person may support all areas of our work environment to include composites, mettalics, electrical and assembly. The shift has not been determined, this could be first or second shift.
