Technical Writer

Unit Description: Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Must be able to demonstrate impeccable use of grammar and context. Proofreading skills highly preferred. Ability to research, verify and answer RFP questions and organize initial drafts of proposals. Capable of determining client or consultant’s proposal requirements and confirming adherence. Prior experience writing Sales Proposals is highly preferred. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of company structure, brand identity and corporate philosophy. Candidates for this position must be extremely detail oriented, organized and have the ability to multi-task. Must be able to manage multiple projects, objectives and deadlines. Exceptional customer service standards and time management skills a necessity. Must be able to prioritize and juggle projects in a fast-paced environment. Support national account business development teams with sales proposal development and sales presentations. Keep abreast of new concept development and corporate initiatives and coordinate prospect communications pieces. Some Supervisory Experience Preferred.Strong computer software skills.
Job Description:

Position Summary:Collects information on procedures, policies, programs, etc.
and organizes it within applicable manuals and materials. Maintains and revises
manuals and program materials. Designs creative marketing and packaging for all
projects. Types forms, diagrams, illustrations, and manuals following guidelines
and formatting instructions provided by manager. Proofreads and edits documents
for grammatical accuracy, conciseness, style and clarity.
