Contract & Sourcing Specialist

The Contracts and Sourcing Specialist will have oversight for the creation, negotiation and upkeep of system-wide contracts for supplies, commodities and/or similar services, targeted to their specific area(s) of responsibility. The individual in this role will manage existing agreements, lead request for proposals (RFP), conduct cost/benefit analyses to assess other possibilities for contracts, products and services, orchestrate the arrangement of business reviews, monitor vendor performance and compliance and oversee rebate management and contractual customer service with vendors. The Contract Specialist will work in concert with multiple departments in the Children's National Health System network and will report directly to the Contracts & Sourcing Manager.

Bachelor's Degree

Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Management or related field.

5+ Years of relevant work experience in contracting, materials management, or a purchasing function preferred. An advanced degree (MBA or MHA) in field of expertise, related business, or equivalent experience is preferred.
