GENERAL SUMMARY:
Responsible for oversight of Pharmacy department operations including scheduling, personnel management, procurement of medications and all day-to-day operations.
Participates in quality-assurance activities, represents department on hospital-wide and unit specific committees, and serves as a resource for other pharmacists and health care practitioners.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
At least three years as a pharmacist in a hospital environment required.
At least two years of management experience preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D. from an accredited school in the United States required.
Current District of Columbia pharmacist license.
Residency preferred.
