Registered Nurse / Hematology Oncology Infusion Center

The RN II /Infusion Center collaborates with other healthcare team members in the delivery of care to patients requiring infusion services. The Infusion Center is a fast paced outpatient unit dedicated to the care of Hematology/Oncology and other patients requiring infusions services. Conducts patient assessment, participates in the development of care. Implements and evaluates care according to patient age and/or developmental needs. Consistently demonstrates commitment to Family-Centered Care Model of care. Responsible for the nursing care of patients in the Hematology/Oncology Clinic (Day Hospital) and Infusion Center. 10 hour shifts, Monday- Saturday No Nights, No Holidays

Qualifications: Three years pediatric hematology/oncology experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting OR three years' experience in an Ambulatory Infusion Center strongly preferred.
AHA CPR, PALS, and APHON Chemotherapy/Biologic Provider Certification required.

Must be able to adapt to frequent changes in daily assignment based on needs of the patients served. Team player attitude and excellent organizational skills is a must. BSN or MSN or ADN with a Bachelor's Degree in any field required.
