Pharmacist - Senior Clinical Information Application Analyst and Educator (Part-time)

This role is responsible for management and oversight of all pharmacy automation including EHR interface with Epic Willow Team in BaltimoreReviews, analyzes, and evaluates information technology systems operations. Provides technical assistance, support, and advice to users; troubleshoots, interprets, tests, and resolves user problems. Participates in, and conducts technical training programs. Determines application training needs, develops programs, and facilitates sessions. Responsible for creating and modifying application reports based on user request. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Pharmacist Licensure in the District of Columbia Pharm D Degree from an accredited college of pharmacy. Prior experience as an informatics pharmacist preferred. Professional certification(s) and/or related clinical systems implementation experience beyond minimum training experience qualifications may substitute for formal education on a two years experience for one year education basis. 3-4 years of experience in healthcare setting or Clinical Information Services environment. Course work in project management and/or training preferred. Experience with system development and implementation. Experience in providing education in a clinical environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Work, Outlook and Excel. Knowledge of SQL. Ability to translate a userís reporting needs into queries. Ability to effectively communicate and directly interface with a diverse customer base. Experience using a variety of training modes.
