Reg. Respiratory Therapist II

Responsibilities As a Respiratory Therapist in the UCLA Medical Center you'll have access to the absolute latest technology and treatments for the care of your patients with the possibility of working anywhere in the health system, you'll handle clinical situations ranging from the routine to the highly complex for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. Assignments include all critical care areas, Emergency Department, Operating Room and intensive care units. Perform routine and complex Respiratory Therapy for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. May be required to work in any area in the Health System. Provide shift supervision when required.
This is a primarily nights position. May require rotating shifts Day/Nights. Will be assisting in all Bronchoscopy procedures. Will be working in the Pediatric Pulmonary and CF clinics. Those hired or trained in NICU must have at least two or more mandatory On Call days per schedule.

QualificationsBCLS required; ACLS, NRP and NPS preferred; and PALS.
License: CA - RCP
Certifications: RRT Required Degree: AA/AS Required
Experience: 3 years Registered Respiratory Therapist by The National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
