Staff Nurse/ Emergency Services

Part Time varied varied evenings CPR RN Required 2 Years Experience - required Advanced knowledge of general nursing theory and application, including knowledge of cardiac, respiratory, surgical, medical, pediatric and trauma emergencies as they pertain to the Emergency Department. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. Two (2) years of recent/current Emergency Department nursing experience required. Must maintain current RN licensure to practice nursing in the State of Washington. ACLS, BLS, PALS or ENPC required. TNCC certification required (must provide proof of current TNCC or proof of past certification). CEN is preferred.

United General hosts an annual women's health fair and many other special events for the public.

The hospital employees and volunteers are actively involved in the community. The hospital's speakers bureau provides free presentations to clubs and organizations; an employee council spearheads a variety of fundraisers for service agencies; and the hospital's "Bedpan Brigade" has delighted many parade-goers in the Skagit Valley.
