AREMA Educational Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship

The American Railway Engineering and Maintenance of Way Association (AREMA) Educational Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of undergraduate scholarships for engineering students who have a potential interest in railway engineering careers.

Amount Awarded: $1000

Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled as full-time students in a four or five year program leading to a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology in a curriculum which has been accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology, (or comparable accreditation in Canada and Mexico). The applicant must achieve at least junior year status in the academic major by the beginning of the Fall term of the year an application is made, and have at least a 2.00 GPA (out of 4.00). Junior status is defined as being within 6 quarters or 4 semesters (under a normal load) of graduation.
