Chopin Piano Competition

Applicant must legally reside in the U.S., be between the ages 16 and 22, and must have demonstrated unusual musical ability but not yet have made extensive professional appearances. Award is designed to encourage highly talented students of piano to study and play the works of Chopin.

Number Awarded: 3 each year.

Deadline: February 14 (Chicago preliminaries), February 21 (Houston preliminaries), March 3 (New York preliminaries and finals).
