Minority and At Risk Student Scholarship

This scholarship is available to talented students who may be at risk of failing to realize their ambitions because of their cultural, economic, or physical circumstances.

Eligibility: Applicants must be Idaho residents, graduates of an Idaho high school, and must meet at least three of the following criteria: be a first-generation college student; be disabled; be a migrant farm worker or other seasonal farm worker or the dependent of a migrant farm worker or other seasonal farm worker; have substantial financial need; or be a minority person, i.e., a black non-Hispanic, a Hispanic, a Native American, or a member of another ethnic group whose members have participated in higher education at a rate lower than their occurence in the general population. A separate application is required. Must demonstrate financial need.
