Minority Scholarship Program

This scholarship is for minority students who wish to become teachers, especially in the areas of mathematics and science.

Eligibility: To be eligible, students must: be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a full-time student in a teacher education program; and be an undergraduate or graduate pursuing an initial teaching certification. After receiving the award, students must: maintain continuous full-time enrollment; complete a teacher education program in the prescribed time; obtain a Kentucky teaching certificate; and teach one semester for each semester or summer term the scholarship is received.
