Minority Undergraduate Studies Program

This program provides promising undergraduate students, particularly minorities and people with disabilities, the opportunity to gain practical summer work experience to complement their academic studies.

Number Awarded:

Eligibility: Highly motivated students, with a proven academic record seeking summer employment following their sophomore year, are encouraged to participate in this program. Applicants must: be over 17 1/2 years of age at time of application; successfully pass medical and security screening, including a polygraph interview; pursue an academic major that is relevent to current Agency requirements; undergraduate scholar applicants must have an ACT composite score of 21 or better and an SAT combines score of 900 or better. Applicable majors include but are not limited to: accounting and finance, business administration, cartography/geography, computer science, economics, engineering, graphic design, hard sciences, international studies, languages, mathematics, photo sciences, political science, and printing/photography.
