Minoru Yasui Memorial Scholarship for Broadcast

Scholarship seeks to encourage Asian men to pursue on-air careers in broadcast journalism. Selection is based upon a commitment to the field of journalism, a sensitivity to Asian-American issues (as demonstrated by community involvement), journalistic and scholastic ability, and financial need.

Amount Awarded: $1000

Deadline: First Friday in April.

Eligibility: College freshmen for sophomore year. College juniors for senior year. College seniors/others for master's degree study. College sophomores for junior year. Students for freshmen year of college.
