Robert D. Watkins Minority Graduate Fellowship

Fellowships are available to graduate students who are members of underrepresented minorities.

Amount Awarded: $10000

Eligibility: Applicants must be formally admitted and must have successfully completed the first year as a doctoral candidate in microbiological sciences in an accredited institution. Applicants must be student members of ASM, have a mentor that is a member of ASM, and must have demonstrated academic achievement. Applicants must show evidence of a successful research plan developed in collaboration with the research advisor/mentor, and must have relevant career goals in the microbiological sciences.
