Eligibility: minority or disadvantaged students who are U.S. citizens and residents of Kentucky with sixty hours or less of college credit. Applicants must be interested in improving their writing skills and becoming certified teachers. They must attend a four-week summer workshop at the University of Kentucky, University of Louisville, or Western Kentucky University and attend four additional meetings during the year.
