E.J. Perls Foundation Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled/admitted to this institution. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, be enrolled full-time, and be pursuing a degree program. Preference is given to education major.

E.K. and Lillian F. Bishop Scholarship
Applicant must be a resident of Grays Harbor County, Wa., have graduated from a Grays Harbor County high school, have a minimum 3.0 GPA (minimum grade average of B), demonstrate financial need., and have demonstrated ability, industriousness, and promise of useful citizenship. Undergraduate applicant must be 23 years of age or under on June 25 of the year of application, be enrolled as a full-time student (at least 12 credits), and have completed at least 90 quarter hours (60 semester hours) at an approved school of higher education. Graduate applicant must be 25 years of age or under on June 25 in year of application, and have been accepted into a graduate program at an approved college or university. Applicant must submit statement of educational and career goals, transcripts, employment history, references, and documentation of acceptance by an approved graduate school (graduate applicants only).

Applicant must be an Eagle Scout. Selection is based upon academic achievement, community service, skills or hobbies, and financial need.

Eastman Scholarship in Mathematics

Ecolab Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled full-time in a U.S. baccalaureate of associate degree-granting program. Selection is based upon hospitality work experience, financial need, academic record, professional, community, and extracurricular activities, and essay. Scholarships are also available to hospitality professionals seeking certification from the Educational Institute of AH&MA for the following areas: certified hotel administrator, certified lodging manager, certified engineering operations, and certified hospitality housekeeping executive. Eddie Bauer Scholars Program
This scholarship is available to students attending a participating UNCF college or university. Applicants must be nominated by the financial aid director at the college and must have a minimum GPA of 2.5, as well as unmet financial need. Applicants must complete the FAFSA. This scholarship is available to juniors and seniors majoring in accounting, business administration, computer science, finance, marketing, or other fields pertaining to the retail industry. Recipients are eligible to participate in a summer internship with Eddie Bauer which is designed to provide students with a complete overview of retail operations and reflects the company's management training program.

Edgar H. Snider Memorial Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled/admitted to this institution. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA.

Edmond A. Metzger Scholarship
Applicant must have at least a novice class radio license, be a member of ARRL, and be attending school in the ARRL Central Division (Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin). Preference is given to residents of Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin who are majoring in electrical engineering.

Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholars
Applicant must be (and have been for the previous 12 consecutive months) a New Jersey resident planning to attend a New Jersey college or university full time and be nominated for the award by high school based upon GPA, class rank, and SAT I scores. Additional scholarships will be provided to applicants from the state's urban and economically distressed areas based upon class rank and GPA.

Edward J. Daehler Memorial Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled/admitted to this institution. Applicant must be entering sophmore or senior year with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Financial need is considered.

Edward J. Gerloff/FACMPE Scholarship
Applicant must submit a letter stating career goals and objectives, a resume showing employment history with a brief narrative describing specific employment responsibilities in the health care field, and three letters of recommendation. Reference letters should address performance, character, potential to succeed, and need for scholarship support. Send for an application with a self-addressed, stamped, business-size envelope.

Edwards Scholarship
Applicant must have a permanent home address in the city of Boston area (Allston, Boston, Brighton, Charlestown, Dorchester, East Boston, Forest Hills, Hyde Park, Jamaica Plain, Mattapan, Readville, Roslindale, Roxbury, South Boston, West Roxbury) and be under age 25. Selection is based upon financial need, scholastic ability, and character. Preference is given to undergraduate applicants.

The Elie Wiesel Prize in Ethics Essay Contest is an annual competition that is designed to challenge college students to analyze the urgent ethical issues confronting them in today's complex world.

Elijah Harper Scholarship
This scholarship is available to Aboriginal students in the city of Winnipeg who have demonstrated leadership performance in school and in the community. Applicants may be continuing their education or seeking employment.

Elisabeth M. and Winchell M. Parsons Scholarship
Applicant must be an ASME student member.
Deadline: March 15.

Elizabeth and Wallace Kingsbury Scholarship
Applicant must be a lineal descendant of worthy Confederates or collateral descendant who is a member of the Children of the Confederacy or the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA, be enrolled in an accredited college or university, and carry a minimum of 12 hours each semester. Applicant must be prepared to pass entrance examination of prospective college or university. Applicant must submit proof of Confederate Military Record, line of descent from Confederate ancestor, a letter of endorsement from sponsoring Chapter, a letter of recommendation, complete financial report, official transcripts, an essay on the significance of a southern heritage, and a wallet-size photo. Original and four copies of the application forms and five copies of all documents, certificates, and letters must be submitted to the Division Director of Education. All inquiries must include a self-addressed, stamped envelope.

Elizabeth R. Hansen Endowed Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled/admitted to this institution. Preferences is given to applicants with eye or visual problems and applicants who have financial need.

Elsa Jorgenson Award
Applicant must be enrolled/admitted to this institution. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Emerson Electric Company Endowed Scholarship

Emiline Maggiore Scholarship
Applicant must be an Italian-American woman, demonstrate financial need, and submit transcript and essay.

Emily K. Rand Scholarship
Applicant must be a resident of Cumberland, Oxford, or York counties, Maine, be between age 17 and 25 at time of audition, and have outstanding musical ability and good scholastic rating. Audition should be 10 minutes long and draw primarily from classical idiom.

Empire Southwest Machinery Co. Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled/admitted to this institution. Applicant must be an Arizona resident and Arizona high school graduate, have a minimum 2.0 GPA, and be a full-time student.

Endowed Scholarships
Applicant must be enrolled/admitted to this institution. Applicant with fewer than 20 units of university work must have a minimum 3.5 GPA; applicant with 20 or more units of work must have a minimum 3.3 GPA. Most scholarships are based on financial need and some have specific qualifications established by the donors.

ENF Gold Award Scholarships
This scholarship program is for young women who have achieved the highest ranking in Girl Scouting - the Gold Award. The Foundation annually awards eight scholarships to Gold Award winners selected by the Girl Scouts of the United States of America. One girl from each Girl Scout Service Area will receive a $6,000 scholarship ($1,500 per year).
Deadline: Each Girl Scout Council sets own filing deadline, but must submit its top application to GSUSA headquarters by May 1.

English Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled/admitted to this institution. Applicant must rank in the top quarter of class and have a minimum combined SAT I score of 970 (composite ACT score of 21). Two letters of recommendation required.

Applicant must be enrolled/admitted to this institution. Applicant must demonstrate academic merit and financial need.

Estella Davis Walker Shepherd Scholarship
This scholarship is available to qualified students, with preference given to students holding active membership in First Baptist Church, in Fairhope, Alabama.

Esther R. Sawyer Scholarship Award
Applicant must submit an original manuscript of 3,000 to 5,000 words on a topic related to internal auditing. The specific topic is chosen annually. Selection is based upon focus on the selected topic, originality, quality of writing, and value to the internal auditing profession.

Esther Vance Music Scholarship
Applicant must be needy, deserving, exhibit above average musical ability, and live in or near Colorado Springs, Colo.

Ethel N. Bowen Foundation Scholarship
Award is granted to residents of southwestern Virginia or southern West Virginia who are in the top tenth of their class.

Etta Mae Scholarship (District 3)
Applicant must be enrolled/admitted to this institution. Applicant must be a member of District 3; currently enrolled in classes leading toward a baccalaureate or graduate degree in nursing. Application will be considered complete when accompanied by a transcipt reflecting that the applicant has completed 12 credit hours in a BSN program or 9 credits in a graduate(masters, Doctorate) nursing program and a letter from the registrar confirming current enrollment. Student needs a written statement of no more than one typewritten page stating why you should receive the scholarship and how receiving the BSN or graduate nursing degree will enhance your nursing practice. Applicant must identify involvement in nursing.

This scholarship is available to deserving students, with preference given to students from Talladega or Pickens County.

Eugene C. Beach Memorial Scholarship
Applicant must be an initiated member of Tau Kappa Epsilon who has demonstrated leadership within his chapter, on campus, or the community, is a full-time student in good standing, and has a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA.
