K of C Francis P. Matthews and John E. Swift Educational Trust Scholarships

Kagiwada Memorial Scholarship
Applicant must be a member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), plan to prepare for the ordained ministry, have a minimum C+ grade average, and be Asian-American. Applicant must submit transcripts and references.
Number Awarded: 33% of applications.
Deadline: March 15.

Kaiser-Permanente Dental Assistant School
Applicant must be an Oregon or Washington resident, be enrolled full time at an Oregon school in an accredited dental assistant training program, and demonstrate financial need.
Deadline: March 1.

Kalamazoo Chapter No. 116 - Roscoe Douglas Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled full time in a degree program, have completed at least 30 credit hours, and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. Financial need is not a consideration, except when two or more applicants have equal qualifications.
Deadline: February 1.

Kam Society Scholarship
The award is based on the students and their parents participation and leadership in Kams' Society activities.

Kamm Family Fund Scholarship
Applicant must be a West Virginia resident and a graduate of Nicholas County High School who is enrolled full time at a college or university in West Virginia and demonstrates financial need, academic performance with a minimum 2.5 GPA, leadership ability, and contribution to school and community.
Deadline: February 15.

Kansas Minority Scholarship
Applicant must be an ethnic minority, Kansas resident, demonstrate financial need, and attend an eligible Kansas school. Selection is based upon academic performance, ethnic category, and financial need.
Number Awarded: 200 each year.
Deadline: April 1.

Kansas Osteopathy Scholarship
Applicant must be a Kansas resident enrolled in a nationally accredited osteopathy school. Preference is given to first-year students.
Deadline: May 1.

Kansas Teacher Scholarship
Applicant must be a Kansas resident attending a Kansas school with high academic credentials and be a full time student in a program leading to teacher certification in a hard-to-fill discipline.
Number Awarded: 100 each year.
Deadline: April 1.

Kappa Delta Phi Scholarship
Applicant must be an American Occupational Therapy Association member and currently enrolled full time in an accredited or developing educational program, demonstrate financial need, and have sustained record of outstanding scholastic achievement. Applicant must submit application including two personal references, curriculum director's statement, and offical transcripts.
Deadline: January 15.

Kappa Delta Phi Undergraduate Scholarship
Applicant must be an American Occupational Therapy Association member and currently enrolled in an accredited or developing educational program, demonstrate financial need, and have sustained record of outstanding scholastic achievement. Kappa Epsilon/AFPE/Nellie Wakeman Fellowship
Applicant must have completed one term of advanced studies in the pharmaceutical sciences, be a member in good financial standing of Kappa Epsilon, and be working toward a pharmacy M.S., a Ph.D., or a Pharm.D. (having previously earned a pharmacy B.S.). Financial need is considered.

Karen Allen Swann Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded through the Baptist Foundation of Alabama to qualified students.

Karen D. Carsel Memorial Scholarship
Applicant must be a U.S. citizen who is legally blind, enrolled full time, and demonstrate financial need. Selection is based upon transcript, three recommendations, and personal statement.

Karl and Lois Bunkley Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled/admitted to this institution. Preference is given to Florida residents.
Deadline: None.

Kate Neal Kinley Memorial Fellowship
Applicant must be enrolled/admitted to this institution. Applicant must demonstrate scholarship, character, and promise and must submit application form, samples of work, and three letters of recommendation. Preference is given to applicants under the age of 25. Selection is based upon high attainment in major field and related cultural fields, and character, merit, and suitability of the program.
Deadline: January 14.

Katharine L. Morningstar Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled/admitted to this institution. Applicant must be a Montana resident and have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
Number Awarded: 5 each year.

Katherine and Bryant Mather Fellowship
Applicant must have a bachelor's degree by summer of the application year, be proficient in English (French for Quebec schools; Spanish for Puerto Rican schools), and be accepted or enrolled full-time for the first or second year of graduate study at an accredited school in the U.S. or Canada which offers a graduate program in concrete design, materials, or construction.
Number Awarded: 1 each year.

Katherine J. Schutze Memorial Scholarship
Applicant must be a woman who is a member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), plans to prepare for the ordained ministry, shows financial need, and has at least a grade average of C+. Applicant must submit transcripts and references.

Kathleen Powers Randall Endowed Panhellenic Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled/admitted to this institution. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA and be a member in good standing of a Greek-letter social sorority.

Kazimiera Adrian-Adrianowska Scholarship
Applicant must be a full-time student in the United States and a U.S. citizens of Polish descent, American of non-Polish descent whose primary academic interests are Polish subjects, or a Pole who is a permanent residents of the United States. Selection is based upon academic excellence, special achievement and activities, and study or involvement in the Polish American community. Request for common Full tuition scholarship application must include statement of descent and/or area of studies, level of eduations, current GPA.

Kelley Foundation Scholarship
Applicant must be a resident of Barnstable County, Mass. Preference is given to applicants majoring in health-related fields.

Kelvin Lane Morris Memorial Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled/admitted to this institution. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA.

Kemper Scholars Grant
Recipient participates in summer internships for all years of college. Applicant must demonstrate maturity, curiousity, imagination, and a desire to relate positively to society through a business career.

Ken Inouye Scholarship
Applicant must be a resident of Los Angeles, Ventura, or Orange Counties, California, or enrolled in an institution in Los Angeles, Ventura, or Orange Counites. Applicant must be a member of an ethnic minority. Selection based upon accomplishments, potential, and financial need.
Deadline: March 1.

Kenji Kajiwara Memorial Scholarship
Applicant must be a member of JACL. Selection is based upon personal statement, letters of recommendation, transcripts, work experience, and community involvement.
Deadline: April 1.

Kenneth and Mildred Ward Scholarship
Applicant must be a West Virginia resident and a graduate of Clay County High School. Selection is based upon academic excellence with preference given to students with financial need who are attending a West Virginia college or university.

Kenneth O. Hobbs Endowed Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled/admitted to this institution. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA.

Kentucky Restaurant Association Governor's Scholarship
Applicant must be a Kentucky resident attending a Kentucky institution, must be in good academic standing, must have at least 1,000 hours of restaurant work experience over a two-year period, and must submit transcripts, essay, and proof of acceptance into college foodservice program.

Kern and Ruth Chastaine Johnson Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled/admitted to this institution. Applicant must be a graduate of Dickson High School in Oklahoma. Selection is based upon merit and need.

Kleberg County Trail Riders Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled/admitted to this institution. Applicant must be a South Texas resident with a minimum 3.0 GPA and a minimum combined SAT I score of 970 (composite ACT score of 21). Two letters of recommendation required.
