Major General Lucas V. Beau Flight Scholarship

Major Julian Delano Dusenbury Presidential Scholarship
Applicant must be enrolled/admitted to this institution. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA. Preference will be given to children of active or retired Marine Corps or Reserve personnel.

Major Madison Bell Scholarship
Applicant must be a lineal descendant of worthy Confederates or collateral descendant who is a member of the Children of the Confederacy or the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA, be enrolled in an accredited college or university, and carry a minimum of 12 hours each semester. Applicant must be prepared to pass entrance examination of prospective college or university. Applicant must submit proof of Confederate Military Record, line of descent from Confederate ancestor, a letter of endorsement from sponsoring Chapter, a letter of recommendation, complete financial report, official transcripts, an essay on the significance of a southern heritage, and a wallet-size photo. Malcolm Pirnie Scholars Program
This scholarship is available to UNCF students majoring in civil, chemical, or environmental engineering or one of the environmental sciences.

Malcolm X Scholarship Program
This scholarship is available to UNCF students selected on the basis of demonstrated academic excellence, campus and community leadership, and exceptional courage.

Matsuo Bridge Company Ltd. Of Japan Scholarship
Awarded to a college junior or senior, or graduate student pursing a minimum four year degree in civil engineering, welding engineering, welding engineering technology, or related discipline. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average. Financial need is not required to qualify. The applicant must be a citizen of the United States, be at least 18 years of age, and have a valid passport. The applicant must be enrolled full or part time in an academic institution located withing the United States. The award will cover airfare, room and board, and per diem for a two to three week training opportunity at Matsuo Bridge Company's facilities and job sites in Japan, in July or August.

Maxine Williams Scholarship
Selection is based upon interest in and a commitment to a career in medical assisting, financial need, academic ability, and demonstration of involvement in school and community. Award is limited to individuals enrolled or soon to be enrolled in a post-secondary program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Students studying other allied health professions or planning to enter medical school are not eligible.

Applicant must be a citizen of a country in which there is a Rotary club, have completed at least two years of college course work or two years of post-secondary employment in a recognized vocation, plan to enroll in degree-seeking program/courses, and submit essay, recommendations, club endorsement, transcripts, and language ability forms. Preference is given to disabled applicants. Rotarians, Honorary Rotarians, and employees of Rotary entities are not eligible; spouses, children/grandchildren, spouses of children/grandchildren, and parents/grandparents of living Rotarians/Honorary Rotarians/Rotary employees are not eligible.
