The Paying Forward Foundation Scholarship
The Paying Forward Foundation was founded on the premise that each of us has the ability to change the world for the better. The Paying Forward Foundation is an Ohio corporation organized to be operated exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes, within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Foundation provides funding for various educational and public health and safety initiatives. Our main focus currently is addressing the critical nursing shortage in the health care industry. Nurses play a vital role in our health care system, and the under-staffing of nurses in hospitals today often results in substandard care to patients. We are raising $200,000 to establish scholarship funds for nursing students and nurses studying to become nurse practitioners.
